Profit – The Ugly Face Of Capitalism

The Post Office announced a loss this year of £140 Million, quite a loss but this is not really a loss because they have £39 Million profit, yup…. £39 Million profit, so not really a loss is it. You see that’s the problem with the Capitalist society today, we are supposed to believe that companies have made a loss and this has to be reflected in job losses……. bollocks, this is just to alleviate the guilt of management for laying off the workers.

Teachers, in England and Wales, voted this year to take strike action over pension cuts along with a 2 year pay freeze it equates to a 3% pension cut.

What do these two stories have in common, greedy bankers, that’s what, the so called losses and local authority cuts are to counteract the bank crash, now, have the banks cut staffing levels, have the banks announced losses, well with the exception of the Royal Bank Of Scotland, have the management taken pay cuts, have they declined bonuses ???? HAVE THEY FUCK, they continue to rape the poor and working class of this country to fulfill their greed, it is time we all stood together and vented our anger at not only the banks but the government themselves as it were they who “gave” our money away to the banks to bail out their incompetence, it is time for everyone to take a stance and let the Financial organisations know we will not put up with their greed any longer.

Need Not Greed, feed the hungry, house the homeless, look after the sick and infirm, is that not the basic rights we all should have being part of a democratic free country, well it would be if there was cash in it for the rich. No money ? Well fuck off, unless you can do something for it, lick some rich fuckers arse, then you can have a crumb, otherwise shut up and beg for a better life.

Celebrity ?

The dictionary refers to the nature of celebrity thus:

a famous person.

Renown, fame

Celebrity – the state or quality of being widely honoured and acclaimed.

So how does this fit in with what we regard as a celebrity these days, well, look at who the general public regard as celebrity, Jordan (Katie Price), Jodie Marsh, Coleen Rooney (nee McLaughlan), and any of the pityful specimens that dare to grace our TV screens on reality shows such as Big Brother, X Factor and Pop Idol to name a few. “Reality” shows, there’s an oxymoron for you, nothing like a scripted, controlled environment to make a “reality” show, the only thing that’s real on these shows are the high levels of idiocy, we can’t complain there, value for money.

But what have any of the people mentioned above done to deserve the the status of celebrity. Jordan and Jodie, go to parties, get a bit pissed then pop the twins out at the mere sight of paparazzi cameras, Jordan did up the anti by signing up for her own series of TV shows, totally saturating the ITV2 channel for years with her own brand of shit. Coleen, shags Wayne Rooney….. well, that’s it, she shags Wayne Rooney, when she can prise him away from the body of some octogenarian. Although she is now seen as some sort of scally fashionista, recommending the latest in shell suits no doubt. Don’t even begin to tell me ANY of the Big Brother / X Factor / Pop Idol reality “stars” have any redeeming qualities that would influence the youth of today, apart from flaunting wealth. “No More Heroes” the Stranglers sang…. how true….. how very true …..

We as members of the public are fooled into believing the media hype when any of these people are thrust into the limelight, the only use they have is to sell tacky magazines and tabloid newspapers…. oh… and to prostitute themselves for lots and lots of money to the highest bidder, they show no shame in spouting out stories of former lovers, etc… in fact anything that will keep them in the limelight, the latest trauma is child abuse, all of these arseholes now seem to have been abused in some sort of way as children, eh !… didn’t hear that in any of the audition tapes…. only when the cameras stop snapping, phone stops ringing and folk stop looking and pointing at them in the street, then the whining little maggots feed us another snippet of why their life is a living hell. Older generations must look at these sorry articles and scream “Is that what we fought the war for ?…..”, whilst my generation can only hold it’s head in shame, after all these are the spawn of the Thatcher generation, another reason, as if we needed one, to continue hating her and her Tory Government even more, but that’s another rant for another day……

As the list of fuckwits grows ever longer, and the paper mountain grows ever higher, due to the shit publications they are asked to contribute to. Is it not about time we put our foot down and put a stop to this crap. Jordan has become the living embodiment of the movie “The Trueman Show” she would love the cameras to run 24/7, we don’t, personally I have had a belly full of the Jordan / Katie saga, it’s time we saw through the facade. This horrible human being will stop at nothing to keep her surgically enhanced face on all the tabloids and minor TV channels, even stooping as low as putting her disabled son in the public eye, how low will she go, she did after all say she wanted to give birth live on the Internet, a sight to behold and riveting telly I’m sure you will agree.

It’s getting that bad that the pile of shit that is “The Only Way Is Essex” won a BAFTA !!!! The truly gifted actors who were nominated that year must have been perturbed at the judges decision on the winner, the work the trained actors put in coupled with the real writers who spend massive amounts of time putting together well scripted stories. The “real people” who work “unscripted” on this moronic insight to Essex are muppets, unintelligent, fake and money grabbing pieces of shit who do not deserve to be on TV, in fact there have been more intelligent specimens left at the bottom of an abortion bucket, than these oxygen thieves. The phrase most heard when I’m spouting these diatribes is “they might be stupid, but they’re millionaires”, the former might be true, but, wealth at what cost, these people have no morals and this is what has brought them their fame and wealth, and try telling queen of the morons Jade Goody that money and fame is everything, it did nothing for her when diagnosed with cancer, my point is, these people see money over everything, cash is king, grab it by any means necessary, no thought for others, no morals, empty vessels.

Folks, do we really want out children / grandchildren looking up to these retards as some sort of role models or god forbid a hero, it’s a no brainer, of course we don’t, so what do we do, well for one stop buying the trashy magazines they rely on and the tabloids that would sell their grannies to get a celebrity story, switch off the TV whenever a program comes on with the fuckwits in it, write to your TV stations asking for better programming, this would apply more to the BBC, remember we as licence payers have a big say, if we cancel our licence they get fuck all to pay these double z listers. Do what is right, you know it makes sense.

Break The Banks

With the recent theft of our taxes by the rich, and let us not forget that the people involved with this are extremely rich, bankers and financiers, to bail out their incompetence and fulfill their greed. It is time to hit back and hit back hard, what we must do is question every move they make question every transaction they make and stop using their services that produce profits for them, it will be only then that they will have to listen to us and we will retrieve the funds we generously gave them.

Write to your MP on a regular basis, a very regular basis, bombard your bank demanding to know what they are doing with YOUR money and then charge them for the the letter, remember the way they do with you, do not accept loans or credit from them, go to a local credit union to secure low cost loans take out interest free deals for products you require just don’t use the banks and big financial organisations for these services, let’s together run them out of town and show them we won’t put up with their greed any longer.

Here is a breakdown of where OUR money has gone:

The commitments include buying £76bn of shares in Royal Bank of Scotland and the Lloyds Banking Group; indemnifying the Bank of England against losses incurred in providing more than £200bn of liquidity support; guaranteeing up to £250bn of wholesale borrowing by banks to strengthen liquidity; providing £40bn of loans and other funding to Bradford & Bingley and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme; and insurance cover of over £280bn for bank assets.

In a report, the National Audit Office ruled that the “unprecedented” £850bn of support for the banks was “justified” to head off the potential damage of one or more of them going bust, and preserving people’s savings and confidence in the financial system.

“Justified” your having a fuckin’ laugh of course we’ve lost confidence in the banking system in as much as we would lose confidence in a baby sitter if they were to kill your child whilst in their care. It’s possibly time we let the fuckers go under, let’s face it capitalism is dying in front of our eyes, let’s give it a decent burial and soon before they bring the rest of us down with it.

Banking is a business just like any others, unless your one of the wealthy that have shares in one or more or actually own it, then it becomes a priority to keep it running, did any one give a fuck when Woolworths bit the dust, or Borders, Habitat, Focus DIY, Oddbins or Pontin’s, did they fuck, sell the resources and get on with it, but god forbid a bank goes under, we are told that if any of the large banks went under then it would be a crisis form the country as our economy relies on these financial organisations to keep the country afloat, bollocks, a country relies on it’s inhabitants to run it, inhabitants like me and you, we are the ones working our fingers to the bone, creating the wealth for these cunts to play monopoly with in the stock market, then, when they fuck up it’s put the hat round and give us more money to play with, well for me it’s a big FUCK OFF, to them. If any of us messed up in our jobs then we would pay the ultimate price in losing our jobs, why should they be any different. It’s time we ran down the avenues where the wealthy live and burn their shit down.

End Of The Line For Edinburgh Trams

So the members of Edinburgh Council have been meeting again to discuss the cancellation of the new Airport to City tram line, the original remit of the project was to run from the airport to Newhaven at a cost of £545 million. Started in 2004, now seven years on what has been completed, well some of the track has been laid and….. Well some of the track has been laid. Businesses have been affected by the closure of Princes Street, and when you hear of the costs so far, the revenue it is projected to bring in and the costs to sustain it, well a sane person would never have agreed to the project at all. Cost so far is £700 million, with an forecasted profit margin of £4 million per annum and a possible £11 million borrowed to sustain it, well you don’t need to be Carol Vorderman to see the numbers don’t add up, for fuck sake a retard could have rejected the project plan with those figures on the table. This project has been unviable from the outset. So if there is no profit to be made from running it then who the fuck is getting all the money, it certainly isn’t the residents of Edinburgh, in these times of austerity what could £700 million buy you, a better health service ? homes for the homeless ? food for the starving ? The list goes on and on, and yes it could have been spent better, far better.
Why the fuck does Edinburgh and the politicians responsible for the city get away with this shit, was it not them that blatantly wasted our money building a new Parliament building, delivered 3 years late and slightly above the original cost of between £10 – £40 million at a measly £414 million !!! WHAT THE FUCK …… Why there was not rioting in the streets of Scotland over the waste of taxpayers money, lies told by building contractors and politicians alike, this should have been reason enough, but the passive Scots lay down and let these fuckers piss all over us again, how long are we going to let them do this ? The whole of the UK are losing jobs, having salaries cut, having services cut and then on top of that being asked to fill the shortfall by volunteering to complete jobs that have been lost, take a flying fuck to yourselves, it’s only a matter of time before we get sick of your wastefulness and take matters into our own hands, we should make the recent Tottenham riots look like a small skirmish with a tiny bonfire thrown in for good measure, string these fuckers up and take back what is rightfully ours.

BBC News this morning had Health Minister Anne Milton on discussing the obesity problem in the UK and what measures the Government are doing to combat this epidemic. She was asked why just obesity, why not smoking and alcohol, her reply was, the Government want to have the UK totally non smoking and are working towards that goal, but food and alcohol were totally different as we all require to eat to survive. Well Anne, yes this is true but why dodge the alcohol issue, abuse of alcohol in this country has reached huge proportions in all age groups, we constantly hear of news reports about the teenage alcohol problem let alone the other age ranges, alcohol abuse in the UK costs the country £25 billion per year, that’s £415 per man woman and child in Britain, tax generated from alcohol equates to £8.2 billion per year, I’m no accountant but these figures do not match up, add this to the deaths brought on by alcohol abuse, which has steadily risen over the years, why then do the government not do something about this ? Because if we, the great unwashed, are in a constantly catatonic state and are slowly killing ourselves then they need not worry, as long as we don’t do it in their areas. If they can’t see it they can pretend it does not exist.
The obesity issue is something else though, this does affect the rich fuckers as well as the poor, this is why the Government are required to step in, god forbid Lord (make mine a pie supper) Prescott die of obesity, well that can’t happen can it, he’s fuckin’ bulimic…… Don’t make me laugh.
Obesity in the UK is reaching epidemic proportions and we do have to address the issue, in 2009 there were 757 deaths directly related to obesity, let alone the rising NHS cost currently estimated at £2 billion per year and rising. Convenience food, fast food and junk food are all getting the blame, is the food itself to blame ? Hell no, having a balanced diet means you can eat some of the food that is supposedly bad for you, crap in, crap out, or in this case crap in, crap stays in coupled with lack of exercise for the vast majority of overweight people means we will never be healthy, the majority of overweight people are so because they are lazy, they breed lazy children, and they in turn believe this to be the norm and will continue the process, education into healthy eating should be started in schools and this will be a beginning to eradicate this avoidable issue.
A healthy lifestyle needs to be worked on, it’s not easy if your not used to it but with a little patience and some work it can be done. If we tried something radical for example, get healthy, get fit and then let’s march on Parliament and show the rich and powerful we are a force to be reckoned with, this would have them quaking in their boots, but while we are all fat alcoholics stuck in a rut we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Death To Big Brother

So for the past week the great British public have been subjected to another season of celebrity big brother, don’t get me started with this……… celebrity ?…… as far as I can see there is only one bone fide celebrity in there and that’s the one from the American Pie film, the others, well that can be debated until the cows come home, lets go down the list:
First we have Kerry Katona, this fuck wit is by no means a celebrity, she is no more than a fucked up alcoholic junkie who revels in the limelight and profits from each of her fuck ups with a “sorry” and followed up with ” where’s my pay check ” she has lived her life jumping from one catastrophe to another seemingly blaming everyone but herself, do us all a favour love, take an overdose and put us all out of our misery.
Next, we have Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, OK so she did a bit of acting, maybe there’s a bit of celeb in her, pity the only bit of celebrity in her was “The Hoff’s” dick.
Darryn Lyons, a ridiculous looking silly man famous for taking snaps of, and I use the term loosely, celebrities and selling the pictures to the tabloid rags that dry hump each other over the gossip, not a celebrity but a parasite that benefits from others misfortune, what a tit.
Tara Reid, the girl from American Pie, a Hollywood actress, that’s a celebrity, so far we have a count of one……
Next, we have the phenomenon know as Jedward, the moronic Irish twins who do not have one brain cell between them, I would grant them a sort of celebrity status based on the pop work they have released and are still recording, pity. These annoying pair of idiots are the best argument for contraception that I have heard of so far.
Now we get to the barrel scraping of the “celebrity” market…….
Amy Childs, where do we start with this oxygen thief, famous for the waste of air time The Only Way Is Essex, inventing the Vajazzle and supposedly a model, give me strength, bitch is more plastic than a Barbie doll, at least with her Vajazzle experience she’ll be at home in this house full of fannies !
On to Sally Bercow, famous for being the wife of the Speaker of the House of Commons, and being a bit of a slapper definitely not a celebrity.
Paddy Doherty next, famous for being a Gypsy, a celebrity ? No, nothing more than a misogynistic, thieving travelling bastard, that does not pay taxes, and now a TV star, thanks a lot Channel 4.
And the last two, Lucien Laviscount, noted as being an actor, but only appeared on Coronation Street for about 5 minutes, and Bobby Sabel, ???? yeah, I know. This fucker is a model, I have never seen any of his work, so if no one has heard of him why is he here ?
So there’s the line up, makes you want to puke doesn’t it, obviously real celebrities would not want to be seen dead being associated with this barrel of shite which is why these oxygen thieves get air time, the saddest thing is some of the moronic public lap this crap up like a kitten with a bowl of cream, until we realise that this really is a waste of time watching these losers 24 / 7 they will continue to grace our telly boxes, the time has come to voice our opinions with our fingers and switch the channel away from Channel 5.
It could be spiced up I suppose, why not instead of evictions, let’s have executions for the one voted out each week, now…. I’d watch that !

London’s Burning – A Riotous Retrospective

So it’s nearly the weekend, seven days since the riots in London began, and as the Londoners start the clear up maybe it’s time to clear up why this has happened.
Various politicians, tabloid and television media and social commentators of the day are all using the same old platitudes, boredom, bad parents, poverty, bad education, gang culture …. etc. well, you get the idea.
So it’s time for me to pitch in with my tuppence worth.
Firstly, the Politicians, there’s an old saying regarding stones and glass houses, please stop throwing stones, if you did not allow the bankers to play the biggest game of Monopoly with our money, this could have been avoided, if you had not stolen tax payers money, then denied any wrong doing, then this could have been avoided, if you persist with your lies and creating a “them and us” society then this will happen again. Cameron and Clegg have been speaking to the media and call for the public not to link these riots to the recent employment cuts, how stupid do they think we are? Of course they’re linked, the public have less jobs, even less money, thanks to the cuts and the bailouts, this all equates to a disenchanted angry public who will vent their anger at some point.
Also the Police need to have a look at how they handle situations like this, the Police force was set up to protect the public, these days they are there to protect the corporations, businesses and the rich, they can dress what they do up by explaining that they were protecting the community….. Bollocks, it was shown on TV they stood around watching shops, houses and cars burning without so much as a move to assist, the blame for the uncontrollable mob lies as much with these cowards as it does with the morons who took part in the riots and burned down their own communities, but more on them later, The Metropolitan Police force motto is “Working Together For A Safer London”, what they seem to have missed out is the ending which should be… “If You Can Afford It” they patrol the avenues of the rich, the rest of London can FUCK OFF.
Now on to the actual rioters themselves, now if the initial reports are to be believed then this started as a legitimate protest at the shooting of Mark Duggan, and the public have a right to do this, we do after all live in a democracy, remember, the same democracy we want to sell to the savages in the East who would benefit from our freedom, yes you do detect a bit of sarcasm there, but after the small amount of people who wanted to protest their anger at one of their community getting shot, their protest was mugged by some folk who were out to cause chaos and do no more than profit from the ensuing confusion. If the riots were directed at the Police, Banks, or Government buildings then I would have given it my full support, but as the pictures showed the rioters were only out to profit for themselves at any cost. But let’s analyse what actually caused this, the UK now is a country with high socio-economic inequality and high youth unemployment, coupled with the global economic crisis is it any wonder that tempers are fraying, this has little to do with a gang culture that is being blamed it is solely to do with a mass culture of profit, greed and consumerism, this is what we’ve been sold as the “perfect life”.
This is a global class war driven by bailing out the rich and shafting the poor, If these cunts treat us like pricks, then let’s fuck them good and proper, expect more rage and more violence but let’s vent it at the people responsible and not in our own communities and on our own people.
